James Roach, MCIP (Member of the Canadian Institute of Planners), RPP (Registered Professional Planner), will be the guest speaker at the upcoming information session on Land Use Planning.  James is a member of Batchewana First Nation and holds a degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Ryerson University, a diploma in Urban Planning and GIS from Mohawk College and a diploma in Indigenous Peoples Resource Management from University of Saskatchewan.  Please come out for the information session of your choice:  morning:  8:30 to 11:30, afternoon:  1:00 to 4:00 and evening session:  6:00 to 9:00.  Land Use Planning and any other sustainable community plan is community driven!  Planning the use of our land is not the decision of a few people, it is the decision of the collective membership of Kanesatake.
